SENT100 vs SENT200 vs SENT300: What's the difference?
One of the most common questions we hear from new users is: what exactly is the difference between SENT100, SENT200 and SENT300? While all three are part of the same SENT system, each serves a different purpose and is filled in by a different party in the shipping process.
SENT100 — the sender's notification
SENT100 is filled in by the sender of the goods before the transport begins within Poland. This declaration includes:
- Sender and recipient details
- The loading address (with precise geographic coordinates)
- The planned start date of the transport
- A list of the goods being transported (CN code, name, quantity)
SENT200 — the recipient's confirmation
SENT200 is filled in by the recipient of the goods after the cargo has been delivered. This declaration confirms that the goods have actually reached their destination, and contains information similar to SENT100, but specifying the delivery location instead of the loading location.
SENT300 — the carrier's declaration
SENT300 is the most comprehensive of the three forms, and is filled in by the carrier. It includes:
- Carrier, sender, and recipient details
- Vehicle information (truck and trailer registration numbers, GPS device ID, permit number)
- The full route — the entry and exit border-crossing points within Poland
- The list of goods
The carrier must also provide continuous GPS location data throughout the transport — this is the mechanism that lets the PUESC system actually monitor the cargo's movement in real time.
Which ones do I need to fill in?
That depends on your role in a given transaction. The same company can be a sender in one shipment, a recipient in another, and even a carrier in a third — which is why many businesses regularly need to work with all three forms.
SentItEasy supports all three forms in one place, with automatically saved contacts for each role.
